BCP-201: BCP Awareness and Training
This class offers participants a comprehensive overview of how to implement a business continuity and disaster recovery program. Delivered by an experienced BCP Consultant, the curriculum will guide the participants through all the development phases of an effective business continuity/disaster recovery program. The material is presented logically within the framework of an actual project. The instructor will also address current industry resources to better prepare the planner how to formulate recovery strategies for their organization. Emphasis is placed on risk and impact analysis, to better enable the planner to choose appropriate continuity strategies and gathering the knowledge for a better understanding of the critical business needs.
The objective of the workshop is to present a clear overview of the BCP process and delve more deeply into the topics that influence the BCP process. Sample plans and real-life disaster recovery scenarios are discussed. Content is appropriate for any experience level.
